Although the concept for the Ford Bronco model has already leaked, a more detailed look at it is now available. It was being tested on public roads, and images of it are giving enthusiasts an even better impression of the off-roader.
The Bronco Sport will have a basic 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, as well as an optional turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder one. It’s expected to arrive at dealerships across the country later this year with a starting price tag of under $30,000.

Earlier this month, the images of the smaller Ford Bronco leaked on an online forum, but people got to see just three angles of the upcoming off-road crossover. Now, an even closer look of the vehicle is available because it was spotted during its public road tests, and it looks great.
According to Ford, the Bronco Sport will also have an available hybrid powertrain, which is expected to be identical with the 2.5-liter inline-four and electric motor of the Escape hybrid. To support its off-road appearance, it can have an optional all-wheel-drive system, and it could also include a low range and a differential lock.
The Bronco Sport Will Have Additional Ground Clearance
People can now get a better idea of the boxy exterior profile of the Bronco Sport, as well as of its roof rails. The vehicle will have a bold “Bronco” script across its grille and round headlights. The “baby Bronco,” as it is also known, will even have a dark lower-body cladding and some additional ground clearance compared to the Escape.
The Sport version will become available before its larger sibling, which won’t be on the market until early 2021, according to Ford. With its low price, the vehicle is definitely one that enthusiasts look forward to calling their own.
