If you’re the kind of person that loves cars and impressive design, there’s a high chance that you’re pretty familiar with the Bugatti brand. After all, their reputation has only enhanced as the years have gone by, and they have grown exponentially thanks to their beloved clientele. However, it seems as though some customers may not be too happy about the fact that the boss of Bugatti has confirmed that the company won’t be building one-off specials.
Following The Crowd
The car world will always be a popular and ever-changing environment, and it seems as though those with cash to spend are more than willing to buy themselves some of the best cars on offer. Yes, celebs and millionaires alike often fill their garages with Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Bugattis, and some of them even have custom creations. In the past, some of the biggest names in the business have produced one-off specials for these customers, but it seems as though Bugatti won’t be following the crowd…
The Final Decision
Speaking to Autocar at the Monterey Car Week in California, Pierre Rommelfanger noted that Bugatti thrives off the inventive ideas and suggestions from their customers. While they listen to what these people want and what they would like from future cars, Pierre noted that the design team and the head honchos at the company ultimately make the final decision. He noted that they wouldn’t be taking one-off requests even from the wealthiest clients, as it would be too “irresponsible” of them to spend so much time and money on one person. Instead, it would be better for them to focus their time and energy on their customers as a collective.
So, if you were looking to get a one-of-a-kind Bugatti, you might have to look elsewhere.
