Modded Tesla

Hitting The Streets

Fremont Police Department told interviewers that they are hoping their new Tesla will be hitting the streets some time in February 2019. It’s rumored to be replacing one of their aging Dodge Charger vehicles, but there’s a reason they’ve opted for a Tesla. Since 2009, Fremont police have been working hard on reducing their carbon footprint and their emissions from their vehicles. They already have a fleet of Toyota Prius and Ford Fusion cars, so this Tesla should fit in quite nicely with the rest.

More police departments could certainly take a leaf out of Fremont’s book and consider reducing emissions from their vehicles. Plus, a Tesla cop car is one of the coolest things ever! It’s a win-win situation all around.
