Pine is a very nice wood, especially when it comes to accents. But, when nearly every piece of wooden furniture in the house is made of pine, it gets old and fast. The ’80s and ’90s had a huge problem with overusing pine for furniture.

Shiplap is just the latter. If you have any, just go ahead and send it to the landfill now instead of waiting for it to be absolutely outdated in another year or two. Beat those home designers to the punch!
