There is no shortage of customized Lamborghinis. After all, if you’ve got the money to buy a Lambo then you’ve got the money to have a bit of fun with it. However, nothing quite compares to this Lamborghini Espada rat rod, that looks like it could have come straight off the set of Mad Max.
Meet The Mad Collector
The man behind this insane lambo is XXX Elo, affectionately known as ‘The Mad Collector.’ Elo was born in London, grew up around the world, and speaks four languages almost fluently. On top of those accolades, he also has one of the coolest car collections on the planet. With a total of 247 cars, bikes, and other vehicles, he says that each of his cars are “super unique.” No kidding when it comes to this Lamborghini Espada rat rod!
A Collaboration
However, Elo can’t take all of the credit for this impressive piece of kit. This Lamborghini Espada rat rod is actually the joint efforts of Elo, French auto body shop owner, Herve Castango, and customizer Alexandre Danton. The trio started the project back in 2018, after Elo got his hands on the 1968 Lamborghini Espada. This was then handed over to Danton who was told he had total “free reign” over what he wanted to create from it, as long as it celebrated its five decades on earth.
The Finished Result
After less than a year at the shop, this is the finished result. The Lamborghini Espada rat rod is around 8-feet wide, with a matte black body that has more angles than you can count. It’s kept some original details, however, including the meaty V-12 engine and four seats. Yep, four of you could cram into this lambo! The finished piece looks like it could take down Mad Max in the blink of an eye.
